Overview
The Supervisor Supply Chain - Storeroom oversees and directs daily operations of the Storeroom which includes but is not limited to: staff scheduling, managing special requests, daily problem solving, ensuring quality service and efficient distribution of supplies needed for patient care, monitoring staff performance and new employee hiring and training Qualifications Work Experience: Warehouse/logistics Responsibilities Oversees and directs daily operations of the Storeroom which includes but is not limited to: staff scheduling, managing special requests, daily problem solving, ensuring quality service and efficient distribution of supplies needed for patient care, monitoring staff performance and new employee hiring and training.Develops, implements and enforces consistent work standards, protocols and service standards for the department.Ensures that the Storeroom and PAR carts are clean and orderly at all times and that supplies are rotated to avoid expiration. Supervisor is responsible for establishing and maintaining a system to continually check the expiration dates on stock in the Storeroom and PAR carts.Manages daily workload and directs and assists staff to perform the following scheduled activities: shipping and receiving activities, inventory control, PAR cart replenishment and distributing supplies to nursing units as requested.Established adequate PAR levels for necessary supplies based on the individual nursing unit. Supervisor should be able to professionally interact with Nursing Leadership to establish and monitor these levels to allow consistent supply availability for patient care.Assists in maintaining the life of Storeroom equipment by ensuring preventative maintenance and/or basic maintenance is performed as necessary.Organizes outside storage locations for equipment, furniture and records as needed.Utilizes all Lawson Inventory/Receiving/CSCM modules to assist staff. Runs reports to monitor productivity, inventory issues and other data required by management.Communicates cascading information from Manager and/or Director to staff.Rounds with employees on a regular basis to ensure processes are working well and to provide feedback on work performance.Conducts regular rounding with patient care management to ensure standards of performance are maintained.Responsible for timely follow-up and associated documentation on any concerns about employee performance and relays findings to Manager for review.Establishes ongoing training as required by department staff.Review and update timekeeper system (Kronos) for any deviations from schedule (overtime, tardy, missed scans, etc.) and holds employees accountable. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $20.65per hour - $34.49per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
