We have 2 sessions per day and A.M. session and a P.M. session. We have multiple providers ranging from D.O to P. A's in clinic with a Medical Assistant assigned to each provider. Our age population is newborn to 18 years of age. We do deliver a large volume of vaccines that are administered by the Medical Assistant. Position Overview HSC Health Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team of healthcare providers at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. This role requires a candidate with strong organizational skills, a diverse set of interests and skill set, and strong interpersonal communication abilities. Candidate must exhibit compassion, understanding, the ability to work well in teams, and the ability to function in a fastpaced environment is critical for this position. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and six (6) months of customer service experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Preferred Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required, three (3) years related experience in ambulatory care, and NextGen experience, and Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Required License/Registration/Certifications Medical Assistant Certification, and CPR (BLS) certification. Job Duties
