Assists department manager with monthly team transition planning, staff training, tracking, monitoring team workflow, and working with the team to resolve escalated billing issues and calculation problems. Trains, manages, and supports Billing Coordinators with escalated billing issues and calculation problems. Reviews completed Consolidated Billing Service (CBS) files before sending them to clients. Implements new client billing, ensuring the client setup is completed accurately. Prepares and provides monthly call center statistics to management and clients, as applicable. Assists the outsourcing and client service teams with communication materials and other projects as needed. Fosters and manages overall relationships with clients ensuring strong retention and client satisfaction. Manages client benefit inquiries and resolves escalated service issues. Meets with clients for pre-renewal strategy, proposal delivery, and explanation. Analyzes market proposals for verification of benefits, premiums, and competitiveness. Negotiates with markets for benefits premium concessions. Reviews coverage contracts for accuracy of policy provisions. Conducts client open enrollment meetings and answers questions regarding benefit coverage. Manages new carrier and plan implementations for the book of business. Ensures delivery of claims experience and utilization reports and reviews for accuracy. Assist with onboarding of new clients. Complies with agency management system data standards and integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information). Other duties as assigned.
