Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Utility worker to join our Production team. A production utility worker supports production employees ensuring that supplies and materials are in their proper places. Weighs and records scraps accurately. Is involved in minor equipment set up; cleans equipment in work areas, conducts visual inspections and operates a lift truck.

Required Qualifications

  • Must have or be able to obtain an LTO license
  • Willingness to be flexible and perform other functions
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and ability to work without direct supervision
  • Basic math skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow written instructions
  • Willingness and ability to work in team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to plan ahead and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to lift and/or move more than 100 pounds (assistance may be requested for anything over 50 pounds)
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good overall performance, safety, and attendance record
  • Knowledge of and adherence to company food safety, product purity, and departmental procedures
  • Ability to operate a walkie and lift truck
  • Ability to communicate and work with management, co-workers and other departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of McKee Foods Corporation and OSHA safety regulations
  • PC experience
  • Good attendance record
