The Role

As Lead Associate, Talent & Influencers, you will help support the implementation of the Agency's talent strategy for positioning Save the Children as a leading nonprofit helping ensure that every child gets a healthy start in life, the opportunity to learn, and protection from harm. Working with the Senior Director, Influencer & Talent Relations you will help vet, manage and engage talent and influencers across a variety of sectors from Entertainment to Sports, to Technology, who align with Save the Children's values and brand. You will work with colleagues in Marketing & Growth to leverage influencer activations across earned, owned and paid media channels.

Hybrid - Washington DC, Fairfield, CT or Lexington, KY office locations

What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Talent Management and Operations (50%)



  • Assist in ongoing engagement and management of Save the Children US Ambassadors to drive brand awareness, engagement and fundraising potential.
  • Facilitate inbound requests from cross-divisional stakeholders and help prioritize talent activations in line with departmental priorities and goals.
  • Manage log of past, live and pending talent activations; provide ongoing updates as needed to ensure coordination across teams.
  • Support Senior Director in creation of pitch materials, talking points, statements, social media posts and creative assets
  • Prepare onboarding materials for new talent including Agency overview, Brand guidelines, Social media best practices, etc.


Administration, Reporting, and Analytics (35%)



  • Support Senior Director in providing actionable reporting / data & insights on engagement activations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage inbound influencer and entertainment partner inquiries.
  • Maintain database of key industry contacts.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for program visits.
  • Other tasks to support program implementation and improvements as required.


Public Relations (15%)



  • In coordination with the Senior Director and the Communications team assist with the execution of communications strategies for the US Ambassadors.
  • Support Senior Director with pitching materials (to Communications team) media outlets to amplify of organization's priority campaigns and moments that leverage talent.


Required qualifications for the role



  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in public relations, celebrity relations, or marketing
  • Professional proficiency with written, presentation and communications skills. Solid understanding of digital media across platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with demonstrated professional creative problem solving
  • Proven networking and relationship-building skills, with a team orientation
  • Demonstrated understanding of pop culture and entertainment industry trends
  • Professional proficiency in MS Office suite, including Teams and CoPilot
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English, with proven written, presentation and communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally
  • Willingness and ability to work after-hours and weekends at times, particularly around disaster and emergency campaigns; and to travel up to 15% in the United States and globally


Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:



  • Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $72,250 - $80,750 base salary


  • Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $65,450 - $73,150 base salary
  • Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $59,500 - $66,500 base salary


The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here).
