Art Teacher

The Stoughton Area School District is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Art Teacher at Fox Prairie Elementary School, effective the 2026-2027 school year.

The Art Teacher is responsible for providing instruction aligned with the Wisconsin Academic Standards to students in grades K-5. This role includes planning, delivering, and assessing instruction to support student learning, growth, and progress through their elementary education.

Requirements of Essential Functions:

Occasional (1-33%) bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking, squatting, reaching and stair climbing in order to perform essential job functions.

Lifting: 0-10 pounds constantly (66-100%)

Marginal Job Functions:

All other duties assigned that relate to the functions of the job.

Job Qualifications:

1. 
   

   Possess or qualify for a teacher's license and meet the established qualifications set forth by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.

   Must have excellent communication skills in order to work effectively with students, staff, families, and the community.
