Located in south central Wisconsin, the Stoughton Area School District is an award-winning school system that consistently posts a higher graduation rate than many Dane County schools and has garnered national recognition for its educational practices. We offer three elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a virtual school through a consortium of other area school districts. At SASD, we are big enough to meet the needs of all students and small enough to personalize learning for all students.

Studies have shown that women and people of color may be less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every one of the qualifications listed. We are most interested in finding the best candidate for the job. We would encourage you to apply for a job at SASD even if you don't meet every one of our qualifications listed. We know that confidence-gap and imposter syndrome can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates, so please don't hesitate to apply - we'd love to hear from you!
