About the Role

HOT JOB - IMMEDIATE OPENING

Culmen International is hiring an Engagement Coordination, Event Planning & Protocol Communications Officer to provide support for the Research Directorate at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and will be onsite in Springfield, VA.



What You'll Do in Your New Role

NGA Research's Strategic Partnerships and Communications (SPC) provides oversight of all partnerships and communications plans. This role provides communications and event management expertise assisting in comms with congressional and legislative affairs, academic and institutional/industry outreach activities and programs and international cooperation and international agreement activities between NGA and our foreign partners.

Specific duties:

    Organize and logistically support program meetings including, but not limited to, directorate-wide all hands, technical exchange meetings, leadership off-sites, new concept industry days/workshops, and other outreach events and open-houses sponsored or supported by NGA GEOINT Innovation & Research.
  • Provide support in planning, organizing, scheduling, agenda drafting, registration services and facilitation in support of conferences and other directorate events.
  • Prepare event material and proceedings, coordinate audio-visual services/equipment and security services for in-person meetings at NGA, NSG, DoD, and IC locations, as well as virtual meetings and events through webcasting and VTC services.
  • Lead cross-office coordination on external engagements by assisting in scheduling prep sessions, supporting talking point preparation, ensuring compliance with NGA protocols, and meeting with office staff to identify other support requirements.
  • Facilitate information sharing by drafting internal newsletters, maintaining insight into directorate weekly activities, and providing input to reporting requirements for senior leadership.


Required Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret Clearance
  • Bachelors degree
  • 15 years relevant experience
  • Willing to sit for CI Poly


Desired Qualifications

  • Masters Degree
  • NGA Experience
