Security Officer - Armed Patrol

As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Patrol in Williamsburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, staying visible to help to deter security-related incidents while supporting guests and staff with outstanding customer service. You will complete routine rounds, document observations, respond to calls for assistance, and communicate clearly with your team. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and/or fire alarms, and communicate status updates to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, lobbies, parking areas, service corridors, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials when required, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and assisting with deliveries and vendor check-ins per site procedures.
• Complete written and/or electronic reports, document incidents and observations, and report maintenance hazards or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
