As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Fredericksburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols of corridors, entrances, and parking areas while maintaining a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff, patients, and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys teamwork, customer service, and using technology to support daily operations.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients in a healthcare location by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or facility leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout hospital and clinic areas, including corridors, waiting rooms, entrances and exits, parking areas, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by post.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, and directing visitors, patients, and vendors according to site protocols.
• Complete required documentation such as incident reports, shift logs, and patrol activity reports, and communicate security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
