Security Officer - Distribution Center

As a Security Officer - Parking Lot Patrol in Bristol, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. You will engage with employees, vendors, and visitors through clear communication and customer service, while working with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity and a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of offices, common areas, loading and delivery zones and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity in assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior and/or hazards according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activity, incidents and policy violations, and communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
