Overview:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide handson and remote technical support for a wide range of enduser hardware, software, and enterprise systems. This role supports daily operations across corporate and clinical environments, ensuring reliable functionality of workstations, mobile devices, peripherals, and essential business applications. Key Responsibilities Hardware Support * Support, troubleshoot, and maintain computers, laptops, workstations, thin clients, and mobile devices. * Diagnose and repair issues involving printers, scanners, and Workstations on Wheels (WOWs). * Perform hardware replacements, peripheral setup, imaging, and workstation deployments. Software & Operating System Support * Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows 11 and related desktop applications. * Provide support for Microsoft Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and productivity tools. * Assist with application installs, updates, and resolving software errors. Systems & Platform Support * Perform user account tasks within Active Directory, including adds, removes, resets, and membership updates. * Utilize ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and documentation. * Maintain accurate tracking of tickets, updates, and status communication. Technical Troubleshooting * Provide daytoday break/fix support for enduser devices and peripherals. * Resolve connectivity, performance, OS, printing, and application issues. * Escalate complex issues as needed while maintaining ownership through resolution. Customer Service & Collaboration * Deliver highquality customer service and clear communication to end users at all technical levels. * Work collaboratively with crossfunctional IT teams to ensure timely support and issue resolution. * Maintain organized documentation and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent service delivery. Qualifications * Experience supporting Windows 11 and Office 365 environments. * Handson desktop support experience with a variety of hardware types, including mobile devices and peripherals. * Familiarity with Active Directory and ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system. * Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills *Job Type & Location* This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, MS. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $22.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
