Your Opportunity:

TechSource is hiring a full-time Civil Engineer for our parent company, Salas O'Brien.

You will prepare design documents for facility maintenance, repairs, and new construction, with a focus on stormwater, utilities, pavement, sitework, and environmental technical areas. You will work a hybrid work schedule at Salas O'Brien's Merritt Island, FL office or Gulfport, MS (Stennis Space Center) office based on your location. You'll work both onsite and from home, with some field investigations and construction support work requiring work at the operating facilities and construction sites.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Work collaboratively with a team of multi-discipline engineers to produce high quality, code-compliant design documents.

* Perform site visits, review as-built documents, codes, and regulations to evaluate existing site conditions and assess project needs, requirements, and limitations.

* Develop construction drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, cost estimates, and permit applications.

* Perform stormwater, utilities, pavement, sitework, and environmental systems designs.

* Develop requirements and work closely with specialty subcontractors for geotechnical investigations, subsurface utility locations, and topographic surveys.

* Conduct facility condition assessments and manage capital asset planning.

* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

* 3 - 5 years of civil engineering work experience, with ability to obtain PE license.

* FE license required for role.

* US citizenship is required for security clearance requirement.

* Expertise in some or all areas listed: shoreline/marine engineering experience and construction experience; stormwater design for grading and collection of treatment systems; utilities design including sanitary sewer, natural gas systems, and water systems; pavement design including structural and geometry design of asphalt, concrete, and unpaved roadways; sitework design for pedestrian pavement, bollards, and fencing; environmental development of requirements for sampling and survey including hazardous materials such as asbestos, PCB, and RECRA metals.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

* PE license.
