What you'll do: Transportation & Logistics (50%)
* Plan and optimize inbound and outbound shipments across parcel, LTL, air, and ocean transportation modes.
* Track shipments and proactively resolve exceptions with carriers, distribution centers, labs, and customer service teams.
* Assist with import and export compliance, including customs documentation and processes.
* Support carrier sourcing initiatives, RFP analysis, and transportation performance measurement.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects focused on service, cost, and efficiency. Procurement & Supplier Management (40%)
* Prepare and submit purchase requisitions in accordance with company policies.
* Learn and operate the company's procurement system, including basic system maintenance.
* Create and manage purchase orders, including expediting, updating, or closing orders as required.
* Investigate and resolve open or aging purchase orders.
* Resolve pricing, quantity, or delivery discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
* Support supplier relationship management, audits, catalog maintenance, and data accuracy.
* Maintain organized documentation and procurement records. Analytics & Continuous Improvement (10%)
* Create and maintain dashboards and reports for vendor performance, purchasing spend, and procurement accuracy.
* Update and distribute monthly reporting to key stakeholders.
* Support crossfunctional process improvement initiatives. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
* 0-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Strong interest in transportation, procurement, or global supply chains.
* Attention to detail, strong learning mindset, and comfort with data and Excel.
* Exposure to transportation or logistics operations (parcel, LTL, air, ocean, 3PLs), preferred
* Experience with procurement or purchasing processes, preferred
* Familiarity with ERP, TMS, or procurement systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, NetSuite), preferred
* Experience building reports or KPIs and working crossfunctionally, preferred
