(FT-6am-230pm) Universal Worker-Senior Living Memory Care

Eventide Linden Senior Living is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to join our team and provide high-quality care and support to senior living residents, with a primary focus on memory care. Full-Time (6a-2:30p), position includes every other weekend and holiday rotation.

The Universal Worker provides safe, high-quality personal care to senior living residents in accordance with all federal, state, and local standards, as well as the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Eventide. This role is essential in supporting residents' dignity, comfort, and quality of life while fostering a secure and supportive environment.

Ideal Candidate

• Must have a current MN CNA license or be able to obtain upon hire

Essential Job Duties

• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience required; experience supporting individuals with dementia or other cognitive conditions strongly preferred
• provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity
• Reads and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Provides adequate nutrition and fluid intake through meal preparation.
• Performs blood sugar testing and documents results.
• Build trusting relationships through consistent companionship and positive engagement with residents
• Documents in tenant records as instructed and promptly.
• Participates in the development, implementation, and review of the tenant's plan of care.
• Recognizes and reports significant changes in the tenant's health, behavior, and/or general appearance to the nurse.
• Complies with infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognizes emergencies and carries out emergency procedures according to policy.
• Observe, document, and report changes in residents' physical, emotional, or behavioral condition
• Review communication notes at the start of each shift to stay informed of changes that may have occurred.
• Assist with and encourage participation in life enrichment and memory-focused activities

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive estimated pay range of $18-$21.16 per hour for the Universal Worker role, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials may also be available for select positions, depending on employment status and the shift worked.
