Under general supervision, maintain effective operational communications by way of radio, telephone and other communication channels such as CRT/keyboard, a printer, a pneumatic tube system, or a telecopier; and, disseminates all necessary information to responsible parties in a timely and efficient manner. Dispatch, receive, and relay operational communications and coordinate these activities with other departments. Receive service calls directly or indirectly, organize these calls with respect to established priorities, and efficiently dispatch this work to field forces. Follow notification and call-out procedure as required. Keep records of service calls, responses, and operations as required; assist in the summarization of these records; and update, file and retrieve records necessary for the performance of job duties. Provide assistance to field forces such as communication with outside agencies and obtaining field locations or facility information from the distribution maps. Perform related or less skilled duties as assigned. Perform activities in accordance with Company Safety Rules, Good Housekeeping Practices and Company policies. Required Education/Experience High School Diploma/GED Relevant Work Experience Ability to read, write and speak English effectively and perform simple arithmetic. Required Must be of sound physical condition. Required This position is subject to drug testing as required by governmental regulations. Required Must successfully pass a predictive aptitude (behavioral) test.
