What to Expect The Tesla Sensing Team is looking for an Integration Engineer to supportoverall sensingactivities, but with a focus on supporting GNSSspecificsystems. The candidate willbe responsible for helping to integrate software and hardware onto Tesla vehicles. This includes defining and executing tests tounderstand how configuration, hardware, and software changes affect the overall performance of the system. The candidate should have a strong background in independently applying engineering principles to hands-on tasks, across both software and hardware.This includes the ability touse standard electrical test equipmentsuch as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and arbitrary waveformgenerators,andfamiliaritywiththe basics of printed circuit boards. The successful candidate will be familiar with the basics for how to setup, configure, run, andmodifycustom Python scriptstocollectandanalyzedata. An integralportionof this role is to support and lead debugging efforts related to GNSS systems. The candidate must be willing to extract useful information from log files, telemetry services, and auxiliary sources of data toidentifyand help fix complex failure modes. The candidate must also setup custom vehicle configurations and thentestdrivethe vehiclesto help debug issues, and tovalidatefixes and improvements. The candidateis expected to havestrong communicationskills working across both cross-functional teams and vendors.Additionally, the candidate willbe responsible fordriving internal line trials and tests of new components or architecture tovalidatethe performance of the GNSS system. What You'll Do Integrate, test, andvalidatenew hardware and software related tovehiclesensors, with a focus on GNSS systems Debug and triage sensor problems discovered in the field. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
