Key Accountabilities
  • General ledger accounting experience within a large ERP system. Understanding balance sheet accounts, specifically fixed asset accounts.
  • Projects spend and obligation reconciliation, analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including project managers, procurement, finance and leadership.
  • Proactively evaluates processes to drive improvements and reduce potential risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and governance requirements.
  • Support capital budgets, forecasts, and long-range capital plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Position Summary

The Financial Analyst II is a professional level position working with the Finance Division team, Directors, and Managers throughout the health system, and is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to support the organization's Finance, monthly accounting close, and annual budget processes serving as support to the Senior Analysts/Managers/Directors and providing accurate, timely, and objective analyses in all projects assigned. Included in these projects are ongoing financial analysis and support to Finance, Directors and Managers, as well as other special projects as assigned. The Financial Analyst II provides analytic support to members of the Finance Division, Directors and Managers. Work situations require strong data analysis and computer skills, and effective interpersonal skills. Independent judgement and decision making within the scope of position responsibilities is required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field required. Equivalent applicable experience, in lieu of degree, may be considered.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in finance and/or financial analysis required; preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Systems experience and familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $82,077.00 - $118,102.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
