Bio-Rad Laboratories is seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Product Manager for ddPCR Instruments to join our fast-paced Digital Biology Group-where innovation meets purpose.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption of ddPCR technology among a broader audience of genomics researchers. To achieve this, you will develop and execute strategies grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs, while enhancing customer satisfaction through comprehensive product lifecycle management. You'll lead cross-functional collaboration across R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Marketing to transform customer insights into actionable strategies that deliver product excellence and accelerate business growth.

How You'll Make An Impact:



  • Manage the product lifecycle for ddPCR instruments.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Regional Sales, and Marketing teams to develop and execute product management action plans.
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research, supported by ongoing visits to customers and non-customers.
  • Construct and deliver compelling narratives to research markets that highlight the ddPCR instruments portfolio and the customer problems these products aim to solve.
  • Contribute to the development of business strategies to sustain and expand the ddPCR instruments business.


What You Bring:



  • Education: BS in a molecular biology or similar field.
  • Work Experience: 8 years direct product management experience in the life sciences or closely related industry.
  • Highly customer focused individuals who can routinely inspire the larger organization
  • Able to analyze complex issues by breaking them down into critical components and develop actionable plans for resolution.
  • Given the extensive collaboration with multiple internal and external parties, strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential.


Location: This position must be based in Pleasanton, California and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $137,600 to $189,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
