The HR Specialist at our West Union, SC facility will be supporting the human resources function by assisting with recruiting, benefits administration, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance activities. This role serves as an onsite HR resource for the plant population and supports organizational objectives through accurate administration and employee support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Recruitment & Staffing:
  Post job openings, screen candidates, conduct interviews, coordinate pre-employment screenings, and manage new hire onboarding.
• Benefits, Payroll & Leave Administration:
  Administer employee benefits programs, support leaves of absence (including FMLA), and process weekly local payroll submissions.
• Employee Relations & Compliance:
  Respond to employee inquiries, support conflict resolution, ensure compliance with applicable labor laws, and maintain accurate personnel records.
• Performance & Development Support:
  Assist with performance review processes and support employee engagement initiatives and compliance training activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or eight (8) years of proven equivalent professional experience.
• Working knowledge of employment laws, HR systems (HRIS), and HR best practices. Strong communication, organizational, and confidentiality skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Workday (HRIS) experience is preferred.
