Global Medical Response (GMR) is proud to be an authorized provider of the DODSkillBridgeprogram, offering Service Members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience in the medical response industry through training and internships.

Under the SkillBridge program, GMR hosts active-duty U.S. Military members for skilled employment training during the final six months of their active-duty obligated service. The SkillBridge Program with GMR will run for up to 180-days.

We provide end-to-end medical transportation as well as fire services, integrated healthcare solutions and disaster response.

The Military Sourcer is responsible for assisting in identifying, engaging, and recruiting qualified candidates from military backgrounds for various roles within the organization. This role focuses on leveraging partnerships with military bases and transition assistance offices, translating military experience into civilian roles, and utilizing innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. The ideal candidate will be skilled in evaluating core competencies and cultural fit and will play a key role in expanding the company's talent pipeline by targeting veterans and transitioning service members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network and build partnerships with military bases and their transition assistance offices to access talent.
  • Assist candidates in translating their military experience into relevant civilian skills and qualifications.
  • Source qualified candidates with a variety of skillsets and functional capabilities across multiple geographic locations.
  • Apply detailed screening and selection criteria to identify high-potential candidates.
  • Identify new recruiting opportunities and utilize innovative sourcing strategies to attract veteran and military talent.
  • Evaluate candidates based on core competencies and cultural fit to ensure alignment with organizational values.
  • Assess the effectiveness of sourcing methods and implement new approaches to generate leads as necessary.
  • Utilize social media marketing and digital platforms to strengthen recruiting efforts and expand outreach.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Experience sourcing and recruiting military and veteran candidates is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with hiring managers and cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing and innovative sourcing techniques.
  • Active-Duty Military must be within 180 days of their EAS
  • Active Duty Must have command approval
  • Hiring our Heroes Candidates must be part of a Cohort Class
