AirMed 360 Commercial Medical Escort Service assists patients whose condition allows them to be repatriated by commercial transport, such as airplanes, trains, and cruise lines. We streamlined the entire travel process, from ticketing and visa issuance to professional medical escorts, specialized medical services, and ground transport.
Main Duties and Responsibilities Include:
  • Create reservations for patients, escorts, and travel companions utilizing GDS (Global Distribution Systems) such as Sabre and Amadeus, as well as online booking tools. (Sabre preferred)
  • Coordinate complex international travel itineraries, ensuring compliance with airline policies and medical requirements.
  • Book hotels and ground transportation including limousines and ambulances when required.
  • Relay country-specific entry requirements including visa requirements, immunization mandates, and travel restrictions.
  • Handle travel issues, conflicts, cancellations, and refunds in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings, payments, and transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.Liaise with medical staff and travel agencies to ensure seamless patient transport and support.
Travel Agent Qualifications/Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of computer reservation systems and GDS platforms.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with excellent reading comprehension and documentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of domestic and international travel trends.
  • Strong knowledge of global geography and international travel logistics.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
  • Degree in tourism, travel, hospitality, business or related field (Preferred but not required).
  • Experience working as a travel agent with a focus on international travel.
  • MUST HAVE Experience working in various GDS systems including Sabre and Amadeus (Sabre preferred).
***HOURS - work up to 44 hours a week. 4 - 8 hour shifts and 1- 12 hour shift on a rotating weekend day. Regular working schedules can include weekends, nights, and holidays, with a combination of 8 and 12 hour shifts.***
