Produces technically complex processes per the responsibilities below. Exact job tasks may vary by area assigned.

Scope/Supervision and Interaction:

This role does not have direct reports.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Plating process and support for assigned plating type(s)
    • Safely setup plating production processes in assigned area.
    • Run plating production processes meeting safety, quality, delivery, and throughput goals.
    • Complete Day by Hour boards and Team Improvement boards as appropriate.
  • Quality
    • Identify good and bad parts.
    • Understands basic Plating quality issues and how to fix them.
    • Ability to perform required rework.
  • Process Improvements
    • Suggest any safety and non-safety related process improvements as appropriate.
    • Participant in high performance teams.
  • Other activities or tasks assigned by leadership team appropriate for the assigned area(s).

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or Equivalent


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Ability to be proficient in minimum of 2 Plating types.

  • Can read, write, and speak English enough to perform job responsibilities.

  • Basic computer knowledge.

  • Understand routers, ISO procedures, work instructions, and standard work.

  • Use required measurement devices such as calipers, VMM, or micrometer.


Typical Mental and Physical Demands:

  • Spend most of the day walking or standing.

  • Lifting requirement up to 25 pounds

  • Both near and far vision to evaluate parts and processes

  • Work with other team members, maintenance, leadership, manufacturing engineering to support the process.

  • Work with or on equipment in the area using any appropriate tools.

Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule

Competitive Compensation

  • Pay Range: $20.75/hr to $31.5/hr
  • Participation in Annual Incentive Program
