Nurse Manager Juvenile Justice Center Full Time 88413BR Job Summary Under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, oversee daily clinical operations to ensure efficient and high-quality care delivery to youth at the Juvenile Justic Center (JJC). Manage nursing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines, including infection control and safety protocols maintaining operations and facilities in a state of constant readiness for regulatory inspections. Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and workflows to optimize patient care and staff efficiency. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care coordination and quality improvement initiatives. Monitor and manage budgets, supplies, and resources to maintain operational efficiency. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional development, and staff retention. Address challenges related to serving underserved young adult populations while ensuring equitable access to care. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $191,800 - $256,600 (Annual Rate). As a comprehensive care site for onsite medical consultation and medication management, the JJC operates a primary care clinic staffed by UCSF physicians five days per week, delivering 24/7 critical healthcare to a largely underserved population.
