M. A. Mortenson Company seeks a full-time Lead Engineer based in Minneapolis, MN. The Lead Engineer oversees the technical direction of the engineering aspects of substation and transmission projects including detailed designs for high voltage substation and transmission projects through 500 kV. This position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field and 5 years related experience. In the alternative, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field and 7 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following: (1) analyzing engineering and design issues, including assessing various options, making well-informed recommendations, and preparing and presenting those recommendations; (2) conducting device configuration testing within a laboratory setting, reconciling data sourced from the Energy Management System (EMS/SCADA integration) and configuring it in ADMS software and providing support for field testing of individual devices; (3) ensuring comprehensive documentation of technical data produced for the project and tasks in accordance with engineering policies and QA/QC procedures; (4) developing and managing tools and reporting for real-time database configuration management utilizing the following tools and programs: SEL RTU, HMI, Network switch configurations programming tools, cyber security tools, ADMS software, and RTU SCADA programming; and (5) diagnosing defects and identifying resolution strategies to maintain the quality and functionality of software systems. Will accept experience gained before, during, or after Master's program. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. This position supervises two subordinates. The base pay range for this role is $131,186 to $192,300. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. Please make note:
