Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Optimization of drug inventory stored within pharmacy automation.
- Coordinate, plan and execute any automation add-ons or new hospital opening or hospital conversions
- Maintaining of the Automation Databases (creation of new users(students)/items/reports)
- An active member of the pharmacy department and pharmacy council structure as it relates to the use and optimization of pharmacy automation across the system.
- Assists with evaluation of future medication automation products for all vendors considered beneficial to the organization
- Assists in the development and compliance with pharmacy automation policies and procedures
- May be asked to staff and perform all duties of a certified pharmacy technician

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy related experience including the oversight of pharmacy automation dispensing and storage technology.
- Project management experience in the planning, preparation, and implementation of drug and inventory control automation projects including user training.
Certification and Licensure
- Pharmacy Technician License & Pharmacy Technician Board Certification (PTCB)
- Eligible to obtain or hold IL Pharmacy Technician License and/or Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration

$26.11 - $37.86
