Ecolab is seeking a Flexographic Press Operator to join our team in Fort Worth, Texas. As a Flexographic Press Operator, you'll help deliver products that support clean water, safe food, and healthy environments around the world. You'll operate machinery and equipment, follow standard procedures, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The Flexographic Printing Press Operator is responsible for safe, efficient setup, operation, and changeover of a narrowweb label flexographic press to produce compliant labels that meet color, registration, and quality standards. The operator executes planned work to daily production schedules, achieves targeted run speeds, and minimizes waste by applying best practices in ink management, plate mounting, and anilox selection.

How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Perform makeready: verify job packets, mount plates, select/inspect anilox rolls, mix/viscosity control, set web path and registration, and confirm inline tooling.

  • Operate at target FPM (feet per minute) and OEE, adjusting tension, dryer settings, nip, impression, and ink balance to maintain spec.

  • Conduct in-process inspections (visual and with measurement tools/systems), correct defects promptly, and escalate when needed.

  • Execute basic preventive maintenance and 5S; identify recurring issues for continuous improvement.

  • Adhere to safety (LOTO, PPE, chemical handling) and GMP/food safety requirements as needed.

  • Complete accurate run records, job tickets, lot/ink traceability, inspection logs, waste tallies, and first-article approvals

  • On-time completion of scheduled jobs with first-pass yield targets met or exceeded.

  • Operate machinery, process and/or filling equipment to meet production goals

  • Operate equipment such as fillers, sleeve labelers, cappers, tape machines, bar coders, ink jet printers, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses

  • Perform quality checks, including taking samples and monitoring fill weights

  • Document quality and productivity data accurately in paper or electronic systems

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

  • Participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects to drive continuous improvement

  • Identify and help eliminate sources of waste in systems and processes

Position Details:

  • Plant Location: Fort Worth, Texas

  • Work Week & Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:15pm-1:45am

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • 1 year of experience running a flexographic press machine

  • Ability to read and interpret instructions in English

  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role

Physical Requirements of Position:

  • Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is $17.11 - $25.67. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
