We are looking for an Estimating Coordinator with stellar administrative skills and a passion for helping to drive a team to success. The Estimating Coordinator will assist Griffith Company Estimators in procuring bid documents, potential subcontractors and suppliers, and overseeing bid deliveries.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain the weekly bid schedule.
  • Procure bid documents.
  • Coordinate bid runners and bid closings.
  • Maintain the BidMail.
  • Contract subcontractors and suppliers to make them aware of the projects.
  • Meet with the various Estimators to determine what the bid requirements are for individual projects.
  • Distribute plans and specifications to the sub-districts, subcontractors and material suppliers.
  • Start and maintain the "Good Faith Effort" if required.
  • Coordinate pre-bid meeting attendees.

  • Experience performing administrative tasks is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Most time spent in an indoor office environment
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Sitting at a desk for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasional lifting of files and boxes up to 20 lbs

  • Extended visual use of a computer screen
  • Frequent typing
  • Occasional travel

Hourly Range: $25.00 - $30.00.
