Partner with the best

As a Technical Program Management Specialist for Software Asset Management (SAM) to support the end-to-end software lifecycle with a strong focus on software intake governance, licensing inventory management, compliance, and cost optimization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring software requests flow efficiently through TechHub (AppPortal), licensing data is accurately maintained in Flexera One and ServiceNow, and deployment data from SCCM and other discovery tools is leveraged to drive compliance and financial outcomes.

As a Technical Program Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Working on Software Intake & TechHub (AppPortal) Governance

  • Managing and supporting the TechHub (AppPortal) software intake process from request submission through fulfillment

  • Validating licensing requirements, deployment models, and entitlement availability prior to approval

  • Ensuring software requests align with approved catalogs, licensing policies, and governance standards

  • Advising requesters on cost-effective, compliant software options

  • Tracking intake SLAs and identify opportunities to streamline intake workflows

Licensing Inventory Management

  • Maintaining an accurate and auditable software licensing inventory within Flexera One

  • Managing and validating:

    • License entitlements

    • Contracts and purchase orders

    • SKUs, metrics, and usage rights

    • Reconcile entitlement data against deployment and usage data

    • Support license allocation, reharvesting, and retirement activities

    • Ensure synchronization of licensing data between Flexera One and ServiceNow

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Performing Effective License Position (ELP) analysis using Flexera One

  • Identifying compliance gaps, over-deployment, and underutilized licenses

  • Supporting internal reviews and external publisher audits

  • Partnering with Legal, Security, and Procurement on remediation and audit response strategies

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have three plus years of experience in Technical Program Management, Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or Licensing

  • Have hands-on experience with Flexera One for license management

  • Have experience using SCCM for software inventory and deployment data

  • Have working knowledge of ServiceNow (ITSM and/or CMDB)

  • Have experience supporting TechHub / AppPortal-style intake workflows

  • Have strong understanding of software licensing models (user, device, core, subscription)

  • Have College degree, or 5 years of work experience in software management
