Ingram Content Group (ICG) is seeking a Wellness Center Manager to join our team. This individual develops, implements, and manages programs to promote employee health including: physical fitness, weight-reduction, smoking cessation, early-detection, and other related programs. Manages all aspects of the LaVergne Wellness Center including: advertising and promotions to drive awareness and membership, all wellness activities and programs, member benefits, budgets, and operations. Conducts fitness classes and ensures all equipment and facilities are functional and safe. Ingram Content Group ("Ingram")connects people with content in all forms. Providing comprehensive services for publishers, retailers, libraries, and educators, Ingram makes these services seamless and accessible through technology, innovation, and creativity. With an expansive global network of offices and facilities, Ingram's services include digital and physical book distribution, print-on-demand, and digital learning. Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or year for year experience
- 1 year experience in a customer service environment
- 1 year experience in a fitness or wellness role
- Certificate in fitness instructing (for example, ACE, ACSM, CI, ISSA, NASM, NESTA, NETA, NSCA, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Personal computing skillsto includeMS Office suite; Word, Excel, Access, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL/Teradataand the ability to manipulate large data sets
- Presentation skills
- Ability to design models/prototypes
- Ability to think abstractly and plan/design technology solutions to meet real world business requirements, but which efficiently scale to a high-growth business
- Ability to apply new knowledge,technologyand procedure to job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and executes all Wellness Center activities including: Wellness Center tours, Health Fairs, member/company contests and fitness awareness, Lunch & Learns, and other programs to promote physical wellness.
- Manages Wellness Center business operations including: responding to Wellness Center membership inquiries, collecting and tracking membership dues, locker rental fees, and all other associated financial transactions via the Wellness Center.
- Creates and manages Wellness Center budget; identifying areas to improve, services offered, or reducing operating costs.
- Creates and instructs daily aerobic, sport, or exercise classes as well as provide consultation and orientation regarding members' fitness needs, and equipment usage.
- Maintains the Wellness Center intranet site.
- Maintain membership database and appropriate paperwork to establish or cease memberships; provides regular membership reporting.
- Maintains sign-up spreadsheet of Wellness Center visitors.
- Recommends and coordinates activities and membership events and promotions such as: plan and conduct blood donation "fitness fairs", health workshops, and other programs to promote healthy, active lifestyles.
- Performs regular equipment evaluation and coordinates appropriate safety inspections as required.
- Ensures cleanliness and stocking of Wellness Center equipment and facilities.
- Serves as site 911 Emergency Responder to incidents occurring in the Wellness Center.
Hiring Salary Range:$65,224K -$82,466. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. It will be determined by factors including but not limited to: the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geographic location, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
