JOB SUMMARY:

The Applications Engineer responsibilities are designing, developing, and maintaining web applications, including database development and administration, troubleshooting of application processes and Web Applications. Familiarity with multiple development languages

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing and developing the front-end and back-end for the web applications according to the customer instructions and needs.

• Providing technical support and maintenance for the existing web applications.

• Setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apache web servers.

• Maintaining and administering databases such as MySQL and MSSQL.

• Meeting both technical and consumer needs based on the company policy.

• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.

• Analyzing current processes for areas of improvement and develop new IT Processes to improve IT operation.

• Develop solutions by monitoring and analyzing incoming tickets, problems, and support requests.

• Driving a culture of continuous improvement.

• Maintaining and implementing the corporate IT policies, Standards and Procedures.

• Taking ownership and responsibility of issues to drive a culture of client advocacy.

• Escalating issues and involving experts whenever required to resolve issues as quickly as possible.

• Coordinating and ensuring that the software upgrades and software packages are current.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Computer Science or related field (preferred)

• 3+ years of experience in Web Developing

• Experience in PHP OOP, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS & MySQL.

• Familiarity with database SQL Server and database administration.

• Experience working and developing secure environments

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.

• Working closely with other team members to provide the best solution and ensure the required quality.

• Research, evaluate, and implement new software tools or technologies

• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

• Good problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail

• Must pass background checks, drug screening, and maintain federal security clearance.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident, Resided in the US for 3 years in the past 5 years.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.

• May require bending, stooping and lifting as required.

• May involve rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call availability
