Job Purpose:

This position will lead and coordinate, with various operational teams, in the identification, development and implementation of effective systems and procedures to support the business objectives of the Company. Will gain thorough knowledge of various operations processes and will recommend changes to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, or standardize processes.

Job Duties:

  • Lead and coordinate assigned bank projects implementing new processes or systems
  • Through rotational assignments, cross-train to assist various Operations departments in executing daily responsibilities
  • Gain thorough knowledge of core banking and related systems, workflows and internal controls, and leverage knowledge to implement process improvement opportunities
  • Administer, manage, support and maintain assigned banking systems as necessary
  • Establish, develop, and maintain strong, professional working relationships with management of various departments and respective support staff to improve cross-departmental communications, foster teamwork, and build partnerships
  • Report out various operational metrics and trends to senior management
  • Lead data mapping and data conversion efforts during mergers and acquisitions
  • Coordinate post-conversion activities including the development and execution of testing plans to ensure data conversion accuracy and perform account audits to ensure system data is consistent with contractual requirements of loan documents, terms and conditions, etc.
  • Will perform special projects as assigned

Normal work hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, with a need of more time as special projects dictate.

Education, Job Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field required
  • Prior banking, project management, leadership or process improvement experience preferred.
  • Strong project management, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in the development and use of spreadsheets and other analytical tools
  • Ability to work with internal and external customers for timely and accurate resolutions to issues
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time to meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and possess the ability to be a team player in a professional team setting
  • Team Player

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field
