Full-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

OVERVIEW:

Working as Full-Time FAST Solutions Product Owner you will be responsible for helping define, leading the development of, and executing strategic and tactical plans for existing and new eBusiness market opportunities. This includes gathering, evaluating, and defining requirements based on input from senior management, sales, marketing, customers, and other internal and external stakeholders. You will also be planning features into program releases, leading the implementation of new development and continuous improvement projects, and leading go-to-market activities for FAST Solutions eBusiness programs and enhancements. Working in this position, you will be coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in all phases of program life-cycle management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

o Defining the requirements of the overall eBusiness product and feature road map

o Working with cross-functional teams to prepare requirements and detailed use cases for new programs and features

o Explaining designs and constraints to stakeholders

o Defining, monitoring, and reporting progress against key success metrics

o Developing and leading User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements are being met

o Supporting go-to-market and roll-out processes for marketing, sales and customer support

o Prioritizing and leading customer satisfaction improvement initiatives

o Resolving issues that affect performance & timely execution of initiatives

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

o Possess at least 3 years of experience related to product management

o Demonstrate working knowledge with multiple full product life cycles

o Work independently as well as in a team environment

o Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working across functions and levels

o Proficient with Microsoft Office as well as project management and collaboration tools

o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented

o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities

o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

o Willingness to travel

o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork

o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

o Possess or are working towards a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field

FULL-TIME BENEFITS:

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. This package includes Health, Life, Long Term Disability, and Dental Insurance, in addition to, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and 401(k) with an employer contribution.

COMPENSATION:

The base pay range for this position is $48,000 - $60,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
