You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead or contribute to the development of program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders managing delivery health and holistic updates including critical path (e.g., program / project charter, business vision document, project requirements, etc.)
  • Ensure alignment of project scope and objectives with the regulatory requirements
  • Ensure that all impacted areas are identified, and that appropriate resources are engaged to participate in the entire implementation process
  • Ensure that project scope, requirements and approvals comply with current governance guidelines and methodology (e.g. RSA, Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
  • Obtain agreement on project scope from applicable stakeholders, and ensures that proper approval is obtained for all required artifacts
  • Ensure that all project deliverables and success criteria are identified
  • Identify project duration, funding, effort, sequence, and dependencies of tasks required to meet applicable project objectives
  • Ensure that resources are acquired to meet project requirements, escalating for assistance where gaps/ risks exist
  • Manages project schedule, budget, scope, quality, communications, and relationships
  • Holistic project management both technically and can operationalize to meet the changing needs of the business and product teams
  • Partner with applicable stakeholders to identify the operational impact of changes within defined solutions (Change Management)
  • Build internal networks and consensus to shape decisions, maintaining positive, constructive working relationships with leaders as well as internal customers
  • Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of project scope, definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation and other areas of expertise based on establish project management techniques
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and in scope
  • Naturally leans into digital efficiencies and can articulate the value to the customer

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project management experience within technology initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience with Agile processes
  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare operations within payment integrity, claim, clinical and/or provider operations
  • Experience in creating and delivering executive level data and presentations
  • Solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven expertise using data and information to make business decisions
  • Proven to have worked or are currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
  • Proven comfort facilitating presentations to large groups and remote audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and prioritize / balance multiple priorities and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
