Description and Requirements

The HR Partner (HRP) is responsible for aligning Lenovo HR/people strategies with the goals of a the MBG Product function. S/he will work closely with the product leadership team and the WW Product Leaders to understand teams' needs, goals, and priorities, and work to develop and implement HR strategies that support the achieving those goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic partner to business leaders and managers, providing HR guidance and support to help them achieve their goals by:
    • Developing and implementing HR Strategics, policies, and programs that align with the overall goals and objectives of the business throughout the employee life cycle (e.g. retention programs, engagement initiatives, OHRP, ACC, Annual Reviews, etc.)
    • Providing guidance and support on a wide range of HR topics, including employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development
    • Working with managers to identify and develop the skills and capabilities of their teams, and providing coaching and support to help employees reach their potential
  • Collaborate with COEs (Centers of Excellence) to ensure that HR services are delivered consistently and effectively across the organization, serving as a liaison between the business unit and the broader HR function, helping to ensure that the Product Team's people needs are met effectively and efficiently.
  • Work with the COEs and leaders to recruit and hire new employees, oversee training and development programs, manage employee relations, and develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership on the status of HR initiatives within the business unit
  • Collaborate with Finance and Business Operations team to maintain a clear view of current headcount and labor cost budgets and actuals
  • Lead worldwide communication efforts in relation to for MBG Product team, including town halls and organizational announcements
  • Oversight of a staff of HR Partners supporting WW leadership teams

Qualifications:

  • Requires 10+ year HR experience or equivalent in roles of increasing complexity/scope.
  • 5 + years of HR experience partnering with executive level stake holders within a complex matrixed environment.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading/designing/deploying/implementing HR Initiatives

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $120k - 170K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
