This role combines deep technical understanding with strategic thinking: someone who can define how technology initiatives get prioritized, executed, and measured while ensuring alignment between technical capabilities and mission outcomes. You'll work directly with senior government leadership (including PEO Digital, NAVWAR, and other DoD/IC customers) to shape technical strategies, drive adoption of modern platforms and practices, and build measurement frameworks that prove value. This isn't a traditional architect or developer role; it's a strategic technical leadership position where you translate complex technical possibilities into executable programs that deliver measurable mission impact. What You'll Do Drive Technical Strategy & Roadmaps * Define technical strategies and roadmaps for customers across data platforms, automation, cloud modernization, and emerging technologies * Translate business and mission needs into technical approaches, ensuring feasibility while maintaining innovation * Establish architectural patterns and technical standards that balance speed of delivery with long-term sustainability * Champion AI-embedded delivery and modern service delivery approaches across customer organizations Lead Pilot Programs & Technology Adoption * Design and execute pilot programs that validate technical approaches and drive enterprise adoption * Build acquisition and adoption frameworks that accelerate technology delivery timelines (3x+ faster than legacy processes) * Identify and prioritize initiatives based on forecasted ROI and mission outcomes * Partner with portfolio managers and acquisition teams to integrate modern contracting vehicles and reduce procurement friction Build Outcome Measurement Frameworks * Design instrumentation strategies and measurement frameworks that prove technical value through quantified outcomes * Develop World-class Alignment Metrics (WAMs) and dashboards that connect technology investments to mission impact * Create reporting mechanisms that make outcomes visible to executive stakeholders and support strategic decision-making * Establish data-driven prioritization approaches using the IGNITE framework (Impact, Growth, Navigation, Integration, Time to Value, Engagement) Drive Process Improvement & Automation * Identify gaps in technical and operational processes and lead improvement initiatives that deliver measurable time/cost savings * Implement Agile and Lean Portfolio Management practices that increase delivery velocity and stakeholder satisfaction * Leverage platforms like ServiceNow to build workflow automation and tracking systems that improve operational efficiency * Streamline communication patterns and reduce response times across complex stakeholder environments Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives * Serve as liaison between technical teams, portfolio managers, government leadership, and other stakeholders * Lead strategic engagements with Defense Innovation Unit, platform partners, and industry organizations * Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical executives in language focused on mission outcomes and business impact * Mentor technologists and delivery teams on outcome-driven approaches and technical best practices Salary: 150k+ dependent on education and experience Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
