While reporting to the HR Services Lead, you will be responsible for providing bilingual day to day support to Sonoco employees world-wide, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and serving as the primary contact for employee life cycle data entry and maintenance.

What you'll be doing:

* You will provide Bilingual front line customer service to employees to assist with all HR questions via e-mail, phone and on-site visitations. You must be able to speak, write and read both Spanish and English.

* Responsible for maintaining employee records and accurate employee data management.

* Ensures seamless transition of employee data from systems to files for employee onboarding process.

* Updates, maintains and manages employee data in Workday (HRIS), audits data and ensures accuracy.

* Ensures 100% data compliance for internal and external audits; provides data as needed for audit requests.

* Monitors employee portal mailboxes, troubleshoots and responds to inquiries, escalating things as needed to the appropriate HR team member.

* Runs routine reports and delivers them to the appropriate business team member.

* Provides support for HR Shared Services, including taking ownership of small project components.

* Assists the HR Shared Services leadership team with other duties as assigned.

This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in beautiful Hartsville, SC and close to exciting destinations (Myrtle Beach, SC Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC)

* Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees, candidates and vendors

* Intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel

* Ability to handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion

* Interest in career in Human Resources; bachelor's degree preferred

* Ability to travel periodically

Compensation:

This is a progression position and could be a level I, II or III. Compensation and progression level will be based on the candidate's experience and education, and current business needs. The annual base salary range for this role is a follows:

  • Specialist I - Employee Services: $54,230 - $57,420
  • Specialist II - Employee Services: $61,280 - $68,940
  • Specialist III - Employee Services: $74,460 - $78,840
