Industrial Engine Shop Mechanic

Job Description

The successful candidate must have relevant working experience and be able to operate, repair, rebuild, and maintain all types of Industrial Engine equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Independently and successfully troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain diesel, gas, natural gas engines, gas blended engines; 3500/3600 diesel and gas engines, marine engines, and chokes assembly's

  
  
• 
  

  Perform work on generators and component parts in various environmental and working conditions; utilize a laptop computer for information and diagnostic purposes with a demonstrated proficiency in S.I.S, DSI, and E.T.

  
  
• 
  

  Accurately complete service reports and provide the details to complete work orders

  
  
• 
  

  Work overtime as required; and maintain tool requirements

  
  
• 
  

  Candidate will also work on the rental fleet when assigned

  
  

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications:

Successful candidates will possess excellent verbal and written administrative skills with an emphasis on accuracy and detail. Ability to prioritize duties, work both independently and within a team. Strong self-starting, interpersonal, professional communication, and multi-tasking skills are required. Must be accountable, flexible, and successful both individually and within a team environment.
