Supply Chain Transportation Coordinator
TheSupply Chain Transportation Coordinatoris responsible for coordination of transportation support load coverage and equipment flowmovement through the supply chain network.

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and coordinate needed 3PL transport support for the various aspects of the supply chain operations.
- Work with third party providers to ensure appropriate communication and visibility to tendered loads.
- Support operations with communication of support load move status through frequent updates.
- Follow up with transport teams to ensure proper tracking of support loads in transport management system.
- Monitor transport carrier rates associated with support loads to ensure reasonable.
- Monitor transport carrier moves to ensure providing acceptable service. Review issues and challenges with respective management to address and correct.
- Interact with the BBU Corporate Transport team as required for coverage.
- Work with the operations teams to ensure adequate flow and timing of equipment (baskets/dollies) across the network.
- Prepare tracking reports to provide visibility of equipment moves and generate actions to address gaps and opportunities.
- Resolve problems by clarifying the issues, determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment with respective transportation and distribution management; following up to ensure resolution.
- Prepare transport and equipment inventory reports by collecting / analyzing service issues and opportunitiesconcerns.
- Manage large amounts of incoming calls and emails.
- Build relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with all functional areas.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Respond promptly to inquiries by phone or email.
- Use OTM, WMS, BUSS and PC Data systems to run reports.
- Keep records of transport carrier interactions, comments, and complaints.
- Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Education or equivalent; college degreepreferred.
- Experience: 1-3 Years of relevant Transportation and/or Distribution experience preferred.
- A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
- Strong reading, math, andcommunication skills: phone, email and active listening skills, with the ability to adapt/respond to various customers.
- Must be well organized and computer literate:Excel and Word experience.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Must be able to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
