Summary University of Vermont Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) at the University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC). This full-time Advanced Practice Professional (APP) role supports a specialized reproductive endocrinology and infertility practice providing evaluation and treatment for infertility, reproductive endocrine disorders, and fertility preservation within an academic medical center committed to clinical excellence, education, research, and community partnership. Consistent with the values of UVM Health, this position supports community engagement and upholds the highest standards of patient-centered care. Clinical Scope Patient population includes individuals and couples seeking care for infertility, reproductive endocrine disorders, and fertility preservation. This is a primarily outpatient position with minimal inpatient responsibilities which may include occasional consultations for urgent, medically indicated fertility preservation or other coordination with inpatient teams as needed. Experience Minimum of 2 years prior clinical experience in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and/or fertility treatment coordination strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have experience counseling fertility patients, managing fertility treatment cycles, and performing office-based procedures such as fertility monitoring ultrasounds, intrauterine insemination (IUI), saline sonohysterography (SHG), mock embryo transfer, and endometrial biopsy. New NP or PA graduates are not able to be considered for this position. Education and Licensure
Our Team The Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility provides comprehensive fertility and reproductive endocrine care to patients across Vermont, upstate New York, and northern New England. Our program is undergoing a period of significant clinical and programmatic growth, including expansion of fertility preservation services and increasing IVF cycle volume, creating unique opportunities for APP leadership and professional development. We are seeking a motivated clinician who is excited to contribute to a collaborative, team-based environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care. Our team includes REI physicians, nurses, andrology and embryology laboratory staff, and a full-time onsite PhD IVF laboratory director. The division provides a full range of services including IVF, fertility preservation, ovulation induction and intrauterine insemination, reproductive endocrine care, and interdisciplinary collaboration with departments across UVM Health including Hematology/Oncology, Urology, and Endocrinology.
