Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Accountant for a contract position with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Huntsville, AL. This is a short-term contract opportunity. Compensation: $26 per hour W2, depending on skill and experience level. This is an onsite position within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting functions, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations. Responsibilities: Develop, implement and/or maintain accounting systems including Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, and Revenue Reconciliation Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations Balance books and prepare profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements Monitor and develop monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects Provide record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions Prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns Assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue in accordance with company policy Generate and interpret revenue reports for internal and/or external use Review, track and maintain billing information in the financial systems Requirements: Experience with accounting systems including Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payable Knowledge of financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations Ability to prepare profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements Familiarity with US GAAP and other accounting regulations Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing setting and use required safety equipment (safety glasses/shoes) If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
