Taft is seeking a Recruiting Assistant to support all Taft offices.

We are seeking a Recruiting Assistant with 2+ years' experience. All Taft employees operate under a "Client First" philosophy-in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Manages viDesktop database. This includes coordinating and tracking all legal personnel employment applications.
  • Tracks the status of all legal personnel applicants and helps ensure a timely response.
  • Assists with the summer associate program, tracks projects and evaluations.
  • Provides recruiting statistics.
  • Supports the Recruiting team in administrative duties as needed.


Requirements:



  • 1-2 years of experience in a professional environment or comparable experience, preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm; professional development experience preferred.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; proficiency in talent management software preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
  • Creative and thoughtful self-starter with the ability to carry tasks through to completion without prompting, and flexibility to handle evolving responsibilities.
  • Able to anticipate needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing; excellent customer service skills; project a competent, professional image.
  • Demonstrate teamwork and willingness to assist.
  • Exhibit speed, comfort and competence in learning new technology and software.
  • Exhibit dependability by being present and prepared for work as scheduled, promptly responding to communications, appropriately using time-off policies, and scheduling lunch and breaks according to department needs.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality standards.
