Short Description Under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), assists with patients' activities of daily living and plan of care. Overview Cooper University Health Care has partnered with Rutgers School of Nursing to develop a two-year program that provides a pathway to critical care nursing for students going into their junior year of nursing school. Three selected students will rotate every three months through the Medical ICU, Trauma Surgical ICU, and Neuroscience ICU. Students must rotate to every unit and stay in the Pathway Program as a critical care technician PRN until they are ready to become a nurse. This pathway is intended to provide the students with unique and hands-on experience in critical care. At the end of the two years, the students may be matched with one of the three units to start their nursing careers. To be considered for this position you need:

Special Requirements Requires 4 shifts (7a-7:30p) or (7p-7:30a) in a 6-week period, three of them being weekend shifts & holidays: 1 winter, 1 summer, 1 hallmark. Hourly Rate Min $17.5
Hourly Rate Max $27
