Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is searching for a Part-Time Research Project Associate!

Salary Range: $21/hr

Position Summary:
The Research Program Assistant is an entry-level, part time position that provides project implementation and administrative support for research projects at the Center for Asian Health (CAH). Under direction of the Principal Investigator and program coordinators, the role supports community outreach, onsite-data collection, data entry, project tracking, and other tasks ensuring that projects achieve their goals and objectives in a timely manner. The incumbent also assists in participant/patient recruitment and data analysis, have liaison responsibilities with CAH partners. This role is well-suited for individuals who are detail-oriented, bi-lingual, quick leaners, and interested in gaining experience in health research data operations.

Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's Degree or training in related field and at least one year of experience required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
* Detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to work under supervision
* Ability to conduct research collaboratively
* Proficiency in working with diverse populations

Preferred Education and Experience:
* Ability to communicate in Asian languages
* Ability to learn new software and procedures quickly
* Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Google Workspace or equivalent)
* Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
* Experience with data entry, database management, or administrative data support

Essential Duties:
* Assist to conduct community outreach, including organizing work-related community events and advocate CAH mission and programs
* Assist with on site data collection and project implementation
* Assist to implement outreach methods to increase awareness of and collaboration on CAH studies/programs
* Assist to promote partnerships with diverse community-based and faith-based organizations and clinical partners
* Assist to develop recruitment strategies and recruiting program participants
* Assist in delivering education and interventions to participants, based on study/program protocol
* Assist with data collection and data entry for community-based initiatives and research projects
* Performs other duties as assigned

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
