Job Description: Weld Shop, 1st Shift Huron, SD Mon-Thurs, 6am-4:30pmWhat you'll do: Build critical structures: Fit, tack, and weld steel components for aerial devices and digger derricks using GMAW/FCAW processes, following approved weld procedures and engineering drawings. Own quality at the arc: Read and interpret blueprints and WPS, set up jigs/fixtures, prep and finish welds (grinding/chipping), and perform inprocess checks so work meets spec the first time. Work safely-every time: Follow Terex "Zero Harm" expectations, required PPE, hotwork controls, and LOTO when applicable; keep work areas orderly and hazardfree. Move materials confidently: Use overhead cranes and materialhandling equipment to stage, position, and transfer parts safely and efficiently Collaborate to improve: Partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, and your team to solve problems, reduce rework/distortion, and support continuous improvement and 5S. Grow your skills: Participate in training (including weld school/skills development and, where applicable, robotic welding) to expand capabilities and progress through defined skill levels. The salary range for this position is $22.84 to $27.94 per hour plus $1.25/hr for Lead position.
