Job Summary

The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate production areas in a timely manner. This role supports manufacturing operations through material movement, inventory tracking, and ERP system transactions while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities




  • Perform physical and system-based material movements within the facility



  • Generate work orders and complete work order receipts using the ERP system



  • Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels



  • Assist with coordinating the flow of materials through manufacturing and assembly areas



  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment



  • Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment



  • Handle chemicals in designated areas following proper training and safety procedures



  • Work overtime as required to support business needs



  • Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and regulatory requirements



  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including FDA requirements, company policies, and operational procedures



  • Maintain positive communication and collaboration with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors



  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management




Qualifications & Skills




  • Experience working in a manufacturing, warehouse, or inventory management environment preferred



  • Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory transactions



  • Ability to maintain accurate records and perform cycle counts



  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills



  • Ability to follow safety procedures and regulatory requirements
