These are the qualifications that matter.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade certification preferred
• 2-5 years of general maintenance experience, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Experience in commercial maintenance or building services preferred
• Ability to read and follow safety procedures, maintenance instructions, and work orders
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency using mobile devices and basic computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Valid driver's license in good standing
• Ability to travel locally between properties
• Must comply with all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs according to work orders and company procedures
• Conduct minor plumbing repairs, including unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks, and replacing fixtures and valve assemblies
• Complete general maintenance tasks such as drywall repair, painting, carpentry, and facility touch-ups
• Perform minor electrical work within state guidelines, including replacing fixtures, switches, outlets, bulbs, ballasts, and sockets
• Inspect and maintain walls, floors, doors, and facility structures to ensure properties remain in like-new condition
• Complete service inspections and asset inspections as required
• Use tablets or smartphones to access work orders, submit service reports, upload inspection photos, and track time or expenses
• Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned tasks
• Attend required safety training and meetings and follow OSHA and company safety standards
• Provide estimates for larger repair projects when needed
• Travel locally between assigned properties to perform maintenance services
