The general pay scale for this position at MOH is $74,786.64 - $115,056.38 per year. The actual hiring rate is dependent on many factors, including but not limited to prior work experience, education, job/position responsibilities, location, work performance, etc.

SCOPE:
The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making at Maryland Oncology Hematology. This position partners closely with operational & finance leaders to provide data-driven insights that enhance financial performance, improve efficiencies, and support the organization's mission of delivering high-quality oncology and hematology care. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.


Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Lead monthly and quarterly financial reporting and variance analysis

- Partner with clinical and operational leadership to evaluate financial impact of service lines and growth initiatives

- Analyze revenue cycle performance, payer mix, reimbursement trends, and operating expenses

- Support physician compensation modeling and productivity reporting

-Performs research and analyses relative to losses and financial trends.
-Assist with annual operational and capital budgeting.

-Assist with return-on-investment analyses (business cases)

-Maintain financial models to support forecasting and long-range planning

- Ensure data integrity across financial systems and reporting tools

- Support in preparation for the external reporting and compliance requirements
-Assist in plans of action based on financial analyses.
-Presents oral and written reports on general business trends, individual corporations, and entire industries.
-Leads projects including establishing timelines, deliverables, and Prepare executive-level presentations and financial summaries. Reviews co-workers work to ensure accuracy.
-Other duties as requested or assigned.


Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor's in finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 5+ years of financial analysis experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Strong financial modeling, Excel, and data visualization skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, costing, and revenue cycle practices
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel required.
