Description

Obtaining and maintaining the appropriate Security Clearance is required to access the primary worksite. Obtaining Securing Clearance can be a lengthy process and will be discussed during the initial interview. Everyone is encouraged to apply! CW staff will help throughout the entire process.

  • Location: Library Of Congress, Washington DC

  • Shift: Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm with possible weekends.


Join our team as a Janitorial Quality Control (QC) Coordinator and play a key role in creating clean, safe, and welcoming spaces every day. If you're detailoriented, proactive, and passionate about leading others to excellence, we'd love to have you help shape the high standards our clients count on.



  • Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections across government facilities to ensure all janitorial work meets contract requirements and company quality standards.

  • Use checklists, digital reporting tools, and quality metrics to document inspection results, track trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Train, mentor, and support janitorial staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, equipment use, and company policies.

  • Coordinate and follow up on corrective actions to ensure issues are resolved effectively and consistently.

  • Collaborate with management to enhance quality control processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Communicate regularly with site supervisors and clients to maintain transparency, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction.

  • Monitor supply levels and work with the operations team to maintain proper inventory.

  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines while promoting a culture of cleanliness and accountability.

  • Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and performance evaluations as needed.

  • Participate in audits and contribute to ongoing quality and processimprovement efforts.


What You'll Need to be Successful:



  • Minimum of 3-5 years of commercial janitorial services, facility maintenance, or quality control.

  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety practices, including proper chemical handling, appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and basic infectioncontrol procedures.

  • Strong understanding of janitorial quality control practices, including conducting detailed inspections, documenting findings, identifying deficiencies, and driving effective corrective actions within janitorial, facilities management, or related service environments.

  • Valid driver's license

  • Valid RealID

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.


Bonus If You Have These Skills:



  • Experience operating commercial custodial equipment such as floor scrubbers, autoscrubbers, carpet extractors, and other specialized cleaning tools commonly used in large or highsecurity facilities.

  • Previous supervisory or teamlead experience.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Physical & Environmental Demands:



  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move throughout large facilities for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).

  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs required.

  • Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 40 lbs as needed for inspections or assistance with cleaning equipment.

  • Work is primarily conducted indoors across various buildings within a secure government installation.

  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, equipment noise, and occasional temperature variations between buildings.

  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in certain areas or tasks.

  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on inspection needs or client requirements.

  • Adherence to site-specific security protocols and confidentiality is mandatory.
