As the Sales Director, you will develop and execute business strategies for the US and Canadian markets. You will optimize product portfolios and lead cross-functional teams to achieve commercial and operational goals. You will work with sales, technical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure the successful execution of business plans within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a winning business strategy in the US and Canadian markets, focusing on profitable growth and market expansion.
  • Lead portfolio optimization and rationalization efforts to align product offerings with market needs and growth opportunities in the US and Canada.
  • Drive new business development and commercial discipline to grow share.
  • Drive short- and medium-term action plans to accelerate business performance.
  • Lead the sales team and collaborate with marketing team to develop and deploy effective sales tools, collateral, and pricing strategies that maximize profitability and market penetration in the US and Canada.
  • Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leadership to ensure operational capabilities meet business demands and support growth objectives within these two countries.
  • Champion new product development initiatives in coordination with technical and commercial teams to maintain competitive advantage and innovation in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends specific to the US and Canada to inform strategic decisions and maintain market leadership.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders within the US and Canada to support our goals.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to segment teams, encouraging a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field; advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business management within paints and coatings industry or related industrial markets.
  • Experience managing a large sales teams
