Position Summary

The Business Development Intern will support strategic sales and marketing initiatives for the North America sales organization, with a focus on eventbased outreach and prospect engagement. This internship provides exposure to sales development, CRM tools, prospecting strategy, and campaign execution.

This is an ideal opportunity for a junior or senior in college who is interested in technology, sales, marketing, or business development and wants to strengthen their professional skillset in a fastpaced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



  • Build and update contact lists in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) in support of targeted campaigns.
  • Support eventdriven outreach by assisting with highvolume email, social media, and phone engagement activities.
  • Help develop leads for the business development and field sales teams.
  • Execute prospecting sequences within sales tools under the guidance of the team.
  • Assist with driving event registrations and meetingsetting activities.
  • Maintain awareness of NETSCOUT products, services, and value proposition.
  • Provide weekly activity summaries aligned with defined KPIs.


Preferred Qualifications & Skills



  • Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a B.S. / B.A. in Business, Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Interest in technology, sales, or business development.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, selfmotivated, and eager to learn in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.
  • Experience or familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn is a plus (but not required).
